Biography of Raimundo Martin

Raimundo Martin developed his artistic vision and philosophy in Cuba during the 1950's and 60's,where he associated with other artist in Havana. He has evolved to another dimension of intellectual and sensual Alchemy, independently creating his own niche of modern surrealism.

    1936       Born, Sancti-Spiritus, Cuba

    1954-57  Studied at San Alejandro School of Fine Arts, Havana.

    1959      Studied ceramics with Amelia Pelaez, Havana.

    1960-62 Studied with Rufino Tamayo at La Esmeralda, School of Fine Arts, Mexico City

    1976      Moved to Spain to study lithography in Granada.
