Lucien Neuquelman began studying at the Art School of Toulon. He went on to meet Othon Friez of whom he became a pupil. In 1930 he went to Paris where he both worked and studied. Neuquelman enjoyed painting landscapes and views of Paris and Brittany. Many works by the artist have been sold at auction, including ‘HAVENZICHT MET VISSER EN ZEILBOTEN’ sold at De Vuyst ‘Impressionism, 19th Century, Modern and Contemporary Art’ in 2010. The artist died in 1988.
